Pastor Christian Shields was saved at the age of 16, he was led to the Lord by pastor Matt Krachunis, who has since become one of Christian’s closest friends and mentors. Pastor Christian has been working in the ministry for 10 years, starting with volunteer work in youth ministry in 2004 at Faith and Victory Church in Auburn, WA. He later went on to work as a licensed minster in 2008 for Straightway ministries in Hendersonville, NC.

In 2009 Christian was ordained by Pastor Jimmy Cox of the Open Door Christian Fellowship where he served as Associate Pastor and Treasurer. Pastor Christian also had the pleasure of administrating Aiglon Academy, a private high school for kids expelled from public school or involved with the juvenile delinquency system in North Carolina. Christian moved back to Washington to marry his now wife Amanda, where he served with International Christian Center under pastor Daniel Ong.

In 2013 Pastor Christian, along with his wife, moved to Singapore to work and train with Victory Family Centre, a large non-denominational Christian church, and Asian Theological Centre, an accredited international Christian university. Both Christian and Amanda trained and study for a year and upon completing the program were sent to Cedar Rapids with a team of missionaries to plant a new church.
